1. How to setup Name Server for my domain? 
DNS : Short for Domain Name System, an Internet service that translates domain names into IP addresses.
Name server : It is the name of the host server. It translates domain names into IP addresses.
It makes it possible for a user to access a website by typing in the domain name instead of the website's actual IP address. The form looks like this -> ns1.hostname.com.(It is just an example)
Requirement : DNS server of web hosting registrar
How to set up Name Server with co.cc
Domain Settings > Manage domain > Select a domain > Click "setup" button > Manage DNS > Input NAME SERVER of your hosting registrar.
After configuring NAME SERVER in co.cc, you should add your co.cc domain to the hosting registrar and if necessary configure zone records as well. It might take up to 48 hours for name server changes to take effect and fully propagate through the Internet.

2. How to setup Zone Record for my domain?
An A (IP address) : It is a DNS record that can be used to point your domain name and host names to a static IP address.
You can use a A record whenever you have to assign a specific IP to a domain name or to a sub-domain.
A MX (Mail Exchange) : It is a type of resource record in the Domain Name System specifying how Internet e-mail should be routed. It point to the servers that should receive e-mail, and their priority relative to each other.
A CNAME (Canonical Name) : It allows you to have as many subdomains as you wish without having to specify the IP for every record. |

3. How to setup URL Forwarding for my domain?
In case you have long and complicated url, you can redirect your web page to your co.cc domain with URL Forwarding service.
Step : Domain Settings > Manage domain > Select a domain > Click "setup" button > URL Forwarding
Redirect To : Enter your web page or blog's real address
Page Title : Whatever you want
Frame : If you choose URL Hiding, you can hide real address.
Meta Description & Keywords : If you set it, your domain would be exposed on Google with high ranking automatically. Google Search engine might show your "Meta Description", "Meta Keywords" in case of you have entered them.
If you're not an expert, I strongly suggest using URL Forwarding service.
It is easy way but help your site looks professional, on top of that there is no advertising.

Step 2.
"Compare to standard edition"→

Step 6.
Fill in the form→ "I accept.Continue with set up→

"Verify domain ownership"→
Step 8.
Choose verification method→Select "Change your CNAME RECORD"→ "Verify"→

[back to CO.CC] URL Forwarding→ Click "Google Apps Email setup" box→ Enter the CNAME→ "Set up"→
Step 10.
Google id checking domain ownership. This may take 48 hours to complete.

2. How to setup Window Live for my domain?
|
Step 0.
What you need to Get started.
- co.cc domain name
- Window Live ID
Step 1.
domains.live.com → Click "Get Started " Box → Enter Your domain (New to Admin center)
Step 2.
Choose mail service for your domain (set up windows Live Hotmail for my domain) → Continue →
Step 3.
In case you have Window live ID, Choose "Sign in with an existing window Live ID" → Continue →
Step 4.
Login your ID account → I Accept →
Step 5.
Step 5-1.
Co.cc → Log-in your account →Domain Settings → Select domain → Click "Set up" box → Zone Records →
Configure MX record as Step 5→ Click "Set up" button → Wait for about 30 minutes →
Step 5-2.
After 30 minutes →Click "Refresh" button
STEP 6.
Click "Add " Box
STEP 7.
Fill in the Form
STEP 8.
Now, your account has been created.

3. How to setup Blogger for my domain?

What you need to Get started.

- blogger.com Account
Step 1.
Co.cc → Log-in your account →Domain Settings → Select domain → Click "Set up" box → Zone Records → Add record as below
Step 2.
Blogger → Log-in your account → Settings → Publishing → Click "Custom Domain" link → Click "Switch to advanced settings" link → Enter your co.cc domain name as below → Fill in the blank → Save settings
Step 3.
All you need to do is wait for 48 hours!
Generally, it takes about 48 hours for the CNAME changes to propagate over the Internet. |

1. Shoud I pay a fee for using domain?
If your domain is for personal, non-commercial use only, you do not need to pay for it.
In addition, you do not need to renew your domain.
We allow you to use our domain for free for the purpose of non-commercial use.
If your domain is for commercial use, you do not need to pay for registration.
However, you should renew your domain after a year. The renewal cost is $3 a year.
We provide paid domain as well free domain for you.
If you want to register top domain, you should pay a fee.

2. Could the service be slow down or even stopped?
We promise we will run enough servers of sufficient performance to provide you
the best service quality. Our servers are located at one of the best Internet
data center in the world. It's fast and stable. If you can not access your site
or if it's slow, that's mostly because of your ISP or the web server that
contains your HTML file. It's very hard to imagine that our server contributes
to the slow access speed. There is an easy way you can check it.
In that
case, please compare to use your real address with (when you use)our service. If
you feel the difference between the mean speeds, please let us know right away. |

Check whether your real home page address works. If not, the new address won't
work too. If it works, probably the target URL, the address of your homepage we

4. Do you delete users domain?
We have some cases.
You should know that we do not allow you to use redirecting service with illegal/ spam/ adult site.
If
a domain has these contents, it will be deleted.
We encourage you to
have only one account. If you have more than one account, it can cause confusion.
In addition, the surplus account can be regarded as inappropriate one for the purpose of spam or phishing.
If your domain is rejected or under examination,
it may be caused by your invalid target URL.
